About the event
Looking for a trail run that benefits Veterans and First Responders that serve our communities and has minimal sweat? You’ve found it! RUN BIG LAND Toughness GROOVE Trail Race is a 10.7K-ish (see what we did there?!) trail race in Montross, Virginia. Proceeds benefit the 501c3 nonprofit 10-7 at Big Land! You will follow forested trails and farm roads experiencing some challenging up and down hills for an elevation gain between 1,500 to 2,000 feet. You'll even get a chance to run past the train caboose aid station and enjoy a shot of Fire Ball to warm you up! This is a tough trail so those trail shoes are definitely recommended and if you're thinking about trail poles it's not a bad idea.
